The Imperial Senate Podcast was created in 2016 after hosts Charlie Ashby and Nicky Kumar met each-other through their mutual love of Star Wars Podcasts. Since that fateful day, Clare Stribling joined their ranks and have spent their time having fun talking about Star Wars in a uniquely earnest/eccentric fashion.
Charlie is a Freelance Journalist and a life-long Star Wars fan. His first word was “dun-dun” which was his way of alerting his parents to wanting to put the films on (dun dun, being a baby translation of the imperial march).
He co-created and hosts The Imperial Senate Podcast, as well as ‘How’s Annie’ a podcast dedicated to Twin Peaks.
Nicky is a writer based in Los Angeles and is obsessed with all things Lego, Podracing, and X-Wings. Star Wars has been a part of his life since he watched Return of the Jedi at age 3 and he hasn’t looked back since.
When not writing or podcasting, he’s dreaming about becoming a pilot and moving to Batuu.
Clare is a bartender and medical professional from the Chicagoland area. Her passion for Star Wars began at a young age when she played with her brothers’ action figures, before knowing that the movies existed.
When she isn’t podcasting or running the Official Salacious Crumb Fan Club, she can be found with her dog Sport in her lap and a glass of wine in her hand.
Ben is a writer from Chicagoland and has been a Star Wars fan since the days of the “One Last Time” VHS box set of the original trilogy.
Aside from editing the podcast, he can be found penning Star Wars-related articles, scribbling down some fanfic and occasionally boosting shipments of coaxium for the credits.
Ben is a Regular Contributor on Eleven-ThirtyEight.
Emma is a web developer and long-time Star Wars nerd. She is our Creative Director and runs the web and video side of things for the podcast.
She is in love with Star Wars video games. The first game that she played Shadows of the Empire on her N64.
